Travis Blain Ellenson
Born June 29, 1985 in Fergus Falls, MN.
At age 2, Travis moved to Cambridge, MN with his mom & step-dad and grew up with his two brothers Brian and Trent. At that young age, he enjoyed the outdoors and was already fishing with Grandpa Chuck. Barely old enough to walk, Travis was riding snowmobiles and motorcycles. He hung out with the varsity Cambridge/Isanti baseball and football teams, where he found many older brothers. During his elementary and middle school years, he found time to enjoy baseball, hockey and football.
As Travis grew older and learned to drive, hunting and fishing occupied his time. Travis worked at Cambridge NAPA with his dad, Skip, doing inside and outside sales. It was his way of earning money for his outdoor enjoyment. Travis and Skip enjoyed many fun trips to Canada, North Dakota, Idaho and many in Minnesota to fish and hunt.

Because of his love for outdoors, he found the construction world for employment. During tough economic times, the challenge to support his family forced Travis to seek employment away from home. Like many others, he found work in the North Dakota oil fields. Being a family man, it was more than he could handle to be away from his son. Travis took his life on July 31, 2013.
Many people have been touched by Travis and knew what a great guy he was.
He will truly be missed.
Travis, you may not be with us in person, but you will never be forgotten!
